The Broccoli City Festival is about more than music—though its nonstop concerts are obviously the main event. Broccoli City is a Black-owned social organization that exists to lift up minorities, especially Millennials and Gen Z, and push forward for full social equity. That’s why its weekend-long festival begins with music but includes many other events over the course of May 6th, 7th, and 8th.

Snag tickets to Broccolicon and the Career Expo on Friday, May 6th if you’re looking to expand your job options, then head to the BC All-Night Pre-Party for some weekend fun before the music fest kicks off the next day! On May 7th, Broccoli City Festival officially launches with a 5K at Anacostia Park, followed by a full day of live music from headliners 21 Savage, Ari Lennox, Lil Durk, and more. Then on Sunday, May 8th, Summer Walker, Gunna, and Don Toliver take the stage alongside some up-and-coming performers.
